Religious Education: Philosophy and Ethics A Level at Oasis Academy Shirley Park

Course description

A level Religious Studies is an exciting and engaging course that allows students to explore individual, moral, ethical, social, cultural and philosophical issues. You will explore questions such as:

Do we really have free will? Can the existence of God be proven? Can war ever be justified? What are the different perspectives about issues such as abortion and euthanasia?

The are 3 units of study
- Philosophy of Religion
- Religion and Ethics
- World Religion (e.g. Buddhism)

 

Assessment

3 exams at the end of the 2 year course.
