Philosophy and Ethics AS/A2 Level at Cecil Jones College

Course description

You will study medical, environmental and sexual ethics, religious experience, atheism, sociological and psychological aspects of religion, major philosophical thinkers and their arguments within the course.

Entry requirements

Five A*-C including a grade C in English

Assessment

Students develop an ability to discuss ethical positions and expand their debating skill. You will learn through a variety of class based activities and sit an examination at the end of the academic year

Future opportunities

A qualification in Philosophy and Ethics can lead you on numerous career paths in a wide range of fields including medicine, law, teaching and also overseas aid/ charity worker.
