This qualification is designed to provide new entrants and those seeking progression in their career, with the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to carry out job roles and responsibilities associated with the maintenance of Electrotechnical systems. This qualification is available at Level 3 only, which is the level that the Electrotechnical industry recognises learners as having achieved the competence required to carry out the role. Examples of units you may study are: Understanding Health and Safety legislation, practices and procedures (installing and maintaining electrotechnical systems and equipment) (ELTK 01) Applying Health and Safety legislation and working practices (installing and maintaining electrotechnical systems and equipment) (ELTP01) Plan and prepare to maintain electrotechnical systems and equipment (ELTP 09a) Unit 399 Electrotechnical occupational competence (ELT OC1)is assessed externally through an AM2 exam The Framework also consists of Personal Learning and Thinking Skills, Employers Rights and Responsibilities and functional skills in Maths, English and ICT at Level 2.
