Course description

Food Science and Nutrition will offer you a wealth of knowledge about food, its preparation and its nutritional value, giving you the opportunity to learn about the relationship between the human body and food. You will also be able to improve you practical skills, learning to cook and prepare food.The course requires controlled conditions coursework throughout and no final written exam is currently required.

Entry requirements

 You do not need to have completed a GCSE course in Catering, you simply need to have a passion for food and cooking The ability to be creative An interest in understanding the human body and its relationship to food The ability to be self motivated to complete coursework
