The Apprenticeship is aimed at those who have secured a work placement with an employer in the Motor Trade.
Contribute to workplace housekeeping Awareness of own actions to reduce risks to health and safety How to maintain positive working relationships Remove and replace engine units and components Carry out routine vehicle maintenance Remove and replace auxiliary
electrical unit and components Remove and replace chassis units and components Employment rights and responsibilities Technical certificate and key/functional skills.
Optional Units include: Conduct pre and post work vehicle inspections Valet vehicles Remove and replace vehicle transmission and driveline system faults.
Three GCSE passes at grade D or above - ideally including Maths, English and IT
Can progress onto the IMIAL Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship.
Higher education courses such as HND are also available for students wishing to study full-time.
