Chemistry - GCSE at St James's C E High School
GCSE Chemistry is a two year course. In year 10, you will study two Chemistry units as part of Science A, which make up 25% to the final assessment for Chemistry GCSE. In year 11, you will complete two further units worth 25% each. The final 50% of the assessment is an internally assessed unit. IMPORTANT: When choosing to study the Sciences as separate GCSEs, you must take all three. In order to complete these GCSEs you will need to work very hard throughout both years 10 and 11. This will include compulsory attendance at after-school lessons.
