Wall and Floor Tiling Level 3 Diploma at Northumberland College

Course description

This course is for anyone who would like to develop their skills and knowledge to a higher level. The diploma will provide you with the necessary practical skills and underpinning knowledge.

Course content

You will study safe working practices in construction, building methods and construction technology, how to provide drainage for tiled surfaces, produce internal and external sand and cement backgrounds and produce tiles, mosaic and stone surface finishes. Ideal if you are employed as a tiler and wish to progress on from the Level 2 course.

Entry requirements

You should have a relevant Level 2 qualification.

Assessment

Your progressed will be assessed throughout the course, as skills and knowledge develop, by practical and knowledge assignments.

Future opportunities

After successfully completing the course you will have the gained the Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Wall and Floor Tiling, which are the required practical and underpinning knowledge standards for anyone gaining employment in the tiling industry.
