A Level Music at St Peter's Catholic School
Music A level is about building skills in performance, composition and gaining a broad musical knowledge through the study of set works. The course caters for a wide spread of musical tastes, the repertoire covering many centuries, and the choice of subjects for composition ranging across many genres.
Studying music gives you the opportunity to further your skills as a musician, as well as deepen your understanding and appreciation of music. It is expected that those taking A level will wish to participate in the many concerts organised within the department and to visit live events elsewhere.
