Advanced Apprenticeship: Children's Care Learning and Development at Hawk Training

Course description

This programme offers the Advanced Apprenticeship in Childrens Care Learning and Development. You will gather evidence for the NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Care Learning and Development, Key Skills and a Technical Certificate. Evidence will be gathered in the workplace and you will have regular meetings with an assessor. You will also take part in on and off the job training.

Entry requirements

The programme requires learners to be employed within a Childcare supervisory related occupation.

Future opportunities

The programme allows learners to gain Vocational qualifications and gain important life skills within the Distribution and Warehousing sector. The course offers you a specialist work-based qualification to support a career related to childcare or to progress onto studying an NVQ level 4 or HND in a related subject such as Health and Social Care or Playwork. With further training, you could continue to develop your career in playwork by working for a children's nursery as a Play Worker or you could use the playwork qualification to support further study for entering a career in teaching The course is often work based which means that you can earn and learn at the same time whilst developing the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers in all areas of child care are looking for.
