Course description

The course is divided into three phases: • Rights and Responsibilities • Government and Politics • Participation and Active Citizenship

Future opportunities

This course provides an excellent introductino to life and study beyond the age of 16 and equips students with knowledge and skills that will be invaluable in the future. Some students choose to progress to A level Government and Politics. With further training, students may choose a career related to citizenship studies such as working in politics, the media or human rights. Other students opt to go straight into employment and do further training or part time study with the support of an employer.
