Entry requirements

Prior to enrolment, literacy and numeracy assessments will take place and you need to be at Entry Level 3 in both to be successful on the course.

You will also need a satisfactory reference and a successful interview.

Your programme will also include English and Maths to ensure you develop your literacy and numeracy skills to a level necessary for employment or further study.

Assessment

The course is based upon the successful submission of coursework, which can be through a variety of assessment methods such as observations, role plays and presentations.

Further information

There are free residential trips as part of the assessment process which includes overnight camping and walking expeditions which will develop the use of land navigation. Also as part of the course all students are expected to wear a pre-selected uniform.
