Course description

We offer a lively and very interesting course that might include: Listening and writing Prepared oral topics Immigration Reading and Writing Environment Leisure We also offer our students the opportunity to study French at first year degree level through Open University. Other students combine this subject with.... Spanish, Psychology, Geography, English, Business....

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C including a grade B in French.

Future opportunities

Later you might want to study.... Leisure, Fashion, Tourism, Translating, Business, Retail, Law, or a related subject at Higher Education. You could take this course to complement other advanced level course or to prepare for the A2 part of an Advanced GCE in French, which could lead onto higher education in French, Languages or more general higher education courses. With further training, you could go into a job related to French or Languages such as a Teacher, Translator, or you may wish to use your French to study or work over in France. You could also go straight into a job as the AS GCE is a recognised qualification that will help you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers across lots of industries are looking for, especially in the travel and tourism sector.
