Music BTEC Level 2 First Extended Certificate at Knowsley Community College

Course description

The Level 2 Extended Certificate offers students a broad experience in all areas of music study. Units range from live performance to computer music production, recording studio techniques to music industry. There will be plenty of opportunities to showcase your skills in a range of college performances throughout the year, in a both college and city centre venues. This course is a really exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to study music and potentially develop a career in the diverse music industry

Entry requirements

To study on this course you will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs a grade D or above including English. You will also need to have the basic ability to sing or play a musical instrument.

Financial information

Students will need their own instrument as appropriate to ensure that they can practice independently
