Engineering - Fabrication & Welding Level 3 Apprenticeship at Knowsley Community College
The Fabrication & Welding – Plate working or sheet metal, Advanced Apprenticeship has been designed for individuals who are in a position of responsibility; including the supervising/overseeing of other staff and dealing with challenging issues. They are likely to deal with development of complex fabricated items which require technical drawing skills, production and development of weld procedures, problem solving and design and research activities of fabricated components.
- NVQ Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Fabrication and Welding
- L2 Key Skills/Fictional Skills Maths and English
- L3 Diploma in Engineering Technology
- Employee Rights and Responsibilities
Learners to complete Level 2 diagnostic assessments in English, Maths and IT (in most cases). All applicants will also have to complete a vocational aptitude test.
You will be required to bring safety boots and overalls, pen, paper an A4 ring binder and any additional equipment at the request of the tutor when required.
Achievement of this qualification can help you to expand your career in your chosen occupational area through progression into supervisory, management or higher technical roles at work. You may also progress to further qualifications and training at Levels 4 or 5 such as Higher Apprenticeships, HNC / HND.
