What will I do? You will study a variety of topics related to childcare and learning.

Course content

Course modules include: • Professional development, roles and responsibilities in childcare • Supporting children’s play and learning • Understanding children’s development • Learn the knowledge, understanding and skills for employment in a child care setting • Preparing and maintaining environments for child care • Communication with children and adults • Keeping children safe.

Entry requirements

• Four GCSE’s including maths or English at grade A-D • Willingness to travel to work placements in Bristol • Evidence of work experience with children.
