Course description

Brief Course Content

Students should be interested in the processes, motives and reactions and nature of the human mind.  They will study research methods, cognitive and developmental psychology, abnormal behaviour, etc.

This course is delivered via video conferencing.  Students attend a weekly tutorial which is held in school.  An ability to work independently is essential since self study is an important aspect of this course.


Psychology is a subject that can work well with the sciences and the arts and can be useful in a variety of careers such as health/welfare, medicine, law, teaching, human resources, the police and the media.

You must have a GCSE mean score of 5.5 and Maths at Grade B or above.
