Photography AS/A Level at Sandwich Technology School
Photography is a form of visual communication. Gaining skills in analysing and making images allows you to express creative ideas, communicate messages and provides skills that can lead to further study and employment.
You study 2 units for AS and 2 for A Level.
You will look at the work of photographers and learn to analyse images and respond to them. You develop skills in taking photos and editing them.
At least 5 GCSE passes at a minimum of grade 4 and preferably an Arts subject.
For each qualification you complete two assignments - one personal coursework project and one on a theme set by the exam board. Your work is marked by your teachers and the examiner.
