Business BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at College of North West London (FE)

Course description

Working in a business setting or running your own business requires a wide range of technical, organisational, communication and decision-making skills, to ensure the business function runs smoothly. There is a huge demand in business for multi-skilled employees to deal with the constant advances in technical and business processes. Our courses are designed to equip you with the skills needed in a business environment.

Course content

Subjects you will study include investigating business, business communication, customer service, and finance for business. This course is equal to 180 credits.

Entry requirements

You will need at least 4 GCSEs grade C, including English and Maths skills at Level 2. If you do not have evidence of your English and Maths levels you will be given an online English and Maths assessment after you submit your application. You may also be asked to complete a piece of free writing or a vocational assessment. If you meet the entry requirements you will then be offered an interview with a tutor to discuss the course.

Assessment

You will be assessed through set assignments marked by your course tutor and verified by an external moderator from the examination board. Some units will be assessed externally by written exam.
