Course description

This exciting course will help you to develop essential knowledge and understanding in Physics and where appropriate, the application of Physics, together with the skills needed for its use in new and changing situations. It will help you to develop an understanding of the link between theory and experiment. It will help you see the importance of Physics as a human endeavour which interacts with social, philosophical, economic and social matters. It will encourage you to develop an appreciation of how Physics has developed and is used in present day society

A/S and A-Level are highly regarded qualifications and provide entry to a wide range of scientific, applied science and engineering courses at University. Physics is a preferred subject for medicine and paramedical subjects. Employers regard it highly.
