Course description

Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy has been and remains an extremely popular vocational area that many young people are enthused by and aspire too. The aim of this qualification is to use the hair and beauty sector as a vehicle to develop learners more broadly, so they are prepared and equipped with the knowledge, understanding and skills to pursue a career in any context.

Course content

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy General

UG31G20- Ensure responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety.

UG21G18- Promote additional products or services to customers.

UG211G8- Develop and maintain effectiveness at work.

UB200B4- Provide facial skin care treatment.

UB200B5- Enhance the appearance of eyebrows and eyelashes.

UB200B6- Carry out waxing services.

UB200N2- Provide manicure services.

UB200N3- Provide pedicure services.

UG200B8-Provide make-up services.

UG211G4- Fulfil salon reception duties.
