History A Level at Tresham College of Further and Higher Education
You will study in detail British and world history on topics that may include transformation in Britain, social changes in the United States and the experience of warfare. Your coursework will allow you to evaluate the wide range of interpretations surrounding historical events and develop your skills in analysing evidence. 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including maths and a grade B in either English language or history. Entry may be subject to a successful interview.
Your final grade will be made up of a mixture of coursework and exams at the end of Year 2.
You will need a memory stick, a file to organise your notes, pens, paper and text books.
A level history is a recognised qualification for many university courses as well as employment.
