Health Care Intermediate Apprenticeship (Level 2) at South & City College Birmingham

Course description

The apprenticeships is designed to provide work-based training, development and new learning opportunities within the health care sector. Apprentices are employed people supporting clinical professional staff in delivering services in various health and social care settings.Within the health care an apprenticeship framework are benchmarked qualifications covering 19 specialist pathways/careers - 3 at apprenticeship level and 16 at advanced apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

Candidates should have a good standard of education a Level 1 NVQ and should be working over 30 hours per week. All candidates will need to attend an information session before starting the programme. All candidates will need to undertake a literacy & numeracy assessment prior to starting the apprenticeship training.

Future opportunities

After completing the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to progress on to the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, this will be dependent on your job role and function.
