You’ve got your Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification so now’s the time to step on the accelerator and get the Level 3 skills needed to open up a whole new world of opportunities.
Your career options range from garage and shop floor positions to technical development. Vehicle ownership is rising and the industry is in constant need of bright young people committed to building their careers around cars.
Training includes up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of modern motor vehicle systems, repair, construction, and associated studies. Learning is through a mix of theory and practice, with continual assessment and an end of year exam.
You’ll be practising your skills on a variety of cars to develop your knowledge of motor vehicle systems, repair, construction, and associated skills. Our motor vehicle engineering workshops are well resourced and kitted out with industry-standard equipment including high-spec computerised diagnostic tools.
Training is led by qualified staff with a wealth of trade and industrial knowledge. It’s experience you can tap into and it’s knowledge they’re keen to pass on.
To ensure you are prepared for the the future – whether that’s employment or further study – you’ll also complete GAP work experience and develop your English and maths.
Successful completion of the Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
Successful students will be ready to find work. Progressing to university is another option, studying subjects such as motor vehicle engineering.
