Travel & Tourism Level 2 Diploma at Walsall College

Course description

This highly practical course is designed to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence of those looking to pursue a career within Travel and Tourism.

This is a wide ranging course and covers a variety of travel units. It focuses very much on the practical aspect of the industry with students giving presentations and role plays.

Tasks include: customer service, selling skills, interpersonal skills, teambuilding activities, role plays demonstrating product knowledge, worldwide destinations and welcome meetings.

Entry requirements

4 GCSE’s at Grades D to G (including a curriculum-related subject). Or successful completion of Level 1 related qualification.

Assessment

Variety of assessments from written, oral, exam, presentation and role play.

Future opportunities

Progression onto the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Travel & Tourism.
