You will study a range of topics all designed to give you the skills you need to work in this exciting field. These include boundary habitat conservation, ecological surveys and techniques, ecology of trees, woods and forests, game management and environmental studies.

Entry requirements

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade C or above including maths and English or a Level 2 Diploma in Environmental Conservation. A keen interest in the outdoors and wildlife is essential.

Assessment

You will be assessed through coursework including assignments, projects, case studies, presentations and tests.

Future opportunities

This course offers an excellent route for successful students to progress to university level course or you may go straight into employment as a countryside ranger or warden.
