Plastering Level 3 Diploma at Amersham and Wycombe College

Course description

This course builds on the skills gained at Levels 1 & 2 and for those learners who wish to develop and build their skills to a more advanced level.


Course content

You will learn how to:

Work safely in the industry
Improve your Maths & English skills
Run in-situ moulds
Applying plastering materials to detailed interiors
Applying plastering materials to detailed exteriors
Producing reverse moulds for detailed fibrous plaster and cement casting
Producing and fixing detailed fibrous plaster and cement casts

Entry requirements

Successful completion of the Level 2 Diploma in Plastering including a pass at English and Maths


Completion will be by:
Achievement of each unit and practical assessment
Completion of a portfolio of work
Synoptic practical assignment set by City & Guilds
Online test
Attendance rate min 90%

Financial information

Learners will need to supply safety footwear and clothing. Drawing equipment and stationery (folders etc.) are necessary.

This qualification helps prepare you for work in the construction industry,with a specific focus on plastering.
