Spanish at William Ellis School

Course description

All students must choose either French or Spanish to study to GCSE. Students may also choose to study both languages. Those students who choose two languages may be able to take French GCSE in Year 10 and study further language courses in Year 10. You will build on the skills you have been developing already. You will learn how to manipulate the language by studying grammar in more depth so that you can be more imaginative and independent. The topics covered include holidays, tourism, going out, school and work. You will also learn more about the countries where the languages you study are spoken.
