Unit 1: Dynamic Landscapes ‐ Tectonic processes and hazards/Landscape Systems, Processes and Change/The Water Cycle and Water Insecurity/The Carbon
Cycle and Energy Security/Climate Change Futures

Unit 2: Dynamic Places – Globalisation/Shaping Places/Superpowers/ Global Development and Connections

Unit 3: Synoptic Themes ‐ assessment of geographical skills, knowledge and understanding within a place based context linking players, attitudes and actions, and futures and uncertainties.

Unit 4: Independent Investigation

Entry requirements

Students will require 5 GCSEs at grade C or equivalent, to include Geography, English
and Mathematics.

Assessment

Units 1 ‐ 3: Written Examination
Unit 4: Investigation Report
