Hairdressing (QCF) Diploma Level 2 at Acacia Training & Development Ltd

Course description

 Acacia Training also works with many salon supervisory staff who can train to become assessors and can observe you on a weekly basis at work during your planned training activities.

Course content

Anyone wishing to folow a career in hairdressing and learn the practical day-to-day skills required to become a stylist.

The mandatory units include:

Assisting with salon reception duties

Advising and consulting with clients

Cutting hair Colouring hair

Drying and styling hair

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you must be able to demonstrate your competence in a real working environment.


This QCF Diploma is assessed in your own workplace and you will be allocated an Assessor who will visit you to carry out observations of your work and help you to identify relevant evidence of your competence in work.

Financial information

The Skills Funding Agency requires Acacia Training to choose Apprenticeship funding over any other form of funding where there is a choice. The Apprenticeship is now available for all ages (subject to eligibility) and is made up of a framework of the QCF, and Functional Skills in Maths and English at level 1. Workbooks are provided within the funding level.

To access this funding via Acacia Training, applicants must be working for or carrying out voluntary work under contract of employment with a local employer in the South West Region
