Team Leading Level 3 Apprenticeship at Stockton-On-Tees Borough Council

Course description

An Apprentice is appointed for a minimum of 12 months. They work a minimum of 30 hours per week but no more than 40, salaried at the National Apprenticeship minimum wage. There are no other additional costs as support funding can be arranged and we can source and provide suitable applications for selection. Working on a Level 2 Apprenticeship the young person attends training three hours per week at our training centre working on functional skills and a technical certificate. The remaining component is the NVQ that is assessed on the job. It is your responsibility to issue the young person with a contract of employment. An age grant is available where you can claim up to £1,500 to help suitable applications for selection. towards the costs (eligibility criteria applies).

Course content

Tasks undertaken by apprentices will vary depending on the level and sector in which they are employed. Tasks may include planning, allocating and monitoring the work of the team, giving feedback, briefing teams, supporting team members, managing conflict, resolving problems, procuring supplies, project management, agreeing budgets and managing and improving customer service.
