Vocational Studies Entry Level Diploma at St John Rigby College
Course description
The BTEC Entry Level 3 Diploma in Vocational Studies is a one year course suited to learners who need additional time to improve their grades. Learners study a number of unites from several vocational areas. They are given an opportunity to develop their understanding of topics such as Health and Social Care, Business Studies, ICT and Art and Design. They will also study Functional Skills, English and Mathematics at an appropriate level.
Entry requirements
The Entry Level programme is suitable for you if you gain at least three grade 1s (or equivalent), in addition to English Language grade 1, in your GCSEs (please refer to the Entry Requirements section page 30 for further details).
Assessment
All units are coursework based English and Mathematics are assessed by examination.
Future opportunities
On successful completion of the course, learners may progress to Level 1 programmes in College, or undertake training or employment. Learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan may progress to a supported internship.
