Course description

An Apprenticeship in Performing Manufacturing Operations is comprised of knowledge and experience of the manufacturing or processing industry and processes. The qualification covers topics like shaping, moulding, packaging and process control and inspection.

Course content

Once on programme with NTS, an assessor will be assigned to each learner. The assessor will carry out an induction to the course and pre arrange visits for approximately every 4 to 6 weeks, on these visits the assessor will assess learners carrying out practical tasks that they would complete in their day to day job role, the assessor will also assess knowledge reports and case studies that learners have completed and carry out discussions, questions and witness testimonies, they will also set targets for the next meeting.
