5 GCSEs at A* to C Grade and we recommend a Grade B or higher in GCSE Maths.

Future opportunities

Mathematics AS and A-Level are particularly sought after for entry to all university courses and are essential for many such as engineering, computer programming and medicine. Other career opportunities ranging from accountancy to financial or retail management, and from statistical analysis to architecture, are also supported by qualifications in mathematics.

We have had very many successful students pass through our Sixth Form classes including students going on to university to study medicine, natural sciences and, of course, just maths itself! It is known that students who study maths after GCSE improve their career choices and increase their earnings potential.
