Health and Social Care Level 2 Diploma at Long Road Sixth Form College

Course description

The Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care is a one-year course equivalent to four GCSEs.  This course will help you to understand the Health, Social Care and Early Years sectors exploring key themes, policies and skills that are important in this area. It is very good preparation for people who want to work in a Health and Social Care setting or with young children.  An important part of the course is a work placement where you can turn theory into practice.

Students enrolling on courses on the Level 2 Applied Programme who have not achieved a Grade 4 in GCSE English or Maths must retake this.
