Hospitality BTEC at Wolverley CofE Secondary School

Course description

There will be a very strong emphasis on practical work in this course, making this an excellent course for students who prefer the practical subjects.

You will participate in group and individual practical tasks, experiments, Catering for others, demonstrate good hygiene practices and develop your presentation skills and customer service.

Entry requirements

You should preferably have a C grade in Catering, Hospitality or Food Technology, or a pass at level 2 in Hospitality and Catering.

Future opportunities

There are many careers in the catering industry, in commercial or residential establishments or there is the Food and Nutrition or Health route of there is the industrial route of which offer good career prospects. Most of these chosen career paths require further study at college or an apprenticeship or within the work environment.
