Engineering Maintenance - Electrical and Mechanical Apprenticeship Level 3 (ENG1) at Barnsley College

Course description

This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to develop a range of skills required in the Engineering industry.

Course content

Course themes:

• You and your employer will choose either the electrical or mechanical pathway to study. You will then study mandatory units and choose from a range of optional units relating to your job role.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade A* to C, including maths at grade 5 plus English at grade 4 or above plus completion of the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.


You will be assessed by your assessor using a portfolio of evidence, practical demonstrations and assignments. You will be assessed both in College and in your place of work.
