AS/A2 Level in Product Design (RM/Graphics) at Great Marlow School

Course description

Have you ever wondered where the products you buy in the shops, online, or mail order come from? The products you buy for leisure, sport, health, education, travel or those we just use to function in everyday life? How many times have you used a product and thought ‘that’s a good idea’ or ‘this is useless’ and not good value for money?

It is a subject that is recognised and highly sort after by all the leading universities and further education establishments. It commands great respect by major employers because it teaches you to work independently or as a team member in a variety of roles. You have to be able to communicate graphically, orally, make presentations and use ICT effectively as a tool.

Entry requirements

Students should have achieved at least a GCSE Grade B in one of the following Design and Technology subjects:

  • Graphic Products
  • Resistant Materials
  • Engineering
  • Industrial Technology
  • Product Design
