Course description

This qualification develops the knowledge and skills needed when working with adults in health and social care environments. It covers a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.

Entry requirements

You must have at least four GCSEs at a grade 3 (D) or above ideally including English Language and maths.Alternatively you can also apply for this course if you have achieved a BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Exploring the Caring Sectors or Health and Social Care and have passed Level 1 Functional Skills in English and maths or above. You will also be required to attend an interview to assess your suitability for this course and complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before your place is confirmed.
