Further pure: algebra and functions, complex numbers, differentiation, integration, series, trigonometry, numerical methods

Decision maths: algorithms, shortest path networks, linear programming, mathematical modelling

Statistics 3: probability, distributions, hypothesis testing

Entry requirements

6 GCSEs but an A grade in maths.

Assessment

Written exams for each unit.
Three units taken in June each year.

A valuable A level that could lead you into a huge variety of careers and in many cases is to essential to have, especially when applying to popular universities. Finance, engineering, actuary, accountancy, modelling, statistics, teaching, economics, design.
