Key information

    • The original High Pavement Grammar School was established in 1788 and it wasn't until 1975 that it turned from grammar school into a sixth form centre. In 1999 the centre merged with New College Nottingham and since then has occupied a prime position on the edge of Nottingham Trent University's City campus, giving our A Level students a real insight into University life, before they've even got there.

High Pavement is home to ncn's A Level courses and with 30 or so to choose from, our students have variety and choice, as well as great on site facilities, fantastic tutors and amazing opportunities during their time with us. Overseas trips, one-to-one support with UCAS personal statements and guest speakers from the UK's top Universities are the norm here at High Pavement and that's why our students tell us time and time again that coming to High Pavement has opened their mind to opportunities and experiences they never knew existed.
