Art and Design (Fine Art) A Level at Sir Thomas Wharton Community College

Course description

AS/A Level Art and Design is intended to continue naturally from GCSE. Ideally we would like students who have achieved a grade C or a BTEC qualification at a merit or above. The course is also suitable for students who may want to pursue fashion or textiles or three dimensional design. The course is intended to fit the needs of the students who take up careers for which Art & Design is relevant. It is also an ideal subject for students with interest and aptitude in the subject, but are not intending to study beyond AS or A Level.
