Law A Level at Stratford-upon-Avon College

Course description

The law has been affecting you from the moment you were conceived and will continue to do so even after you have died, but this is probably the first opportunity you will have to study it.

You will acquire the knowledge and skills to use for the rest of your life – theory, analysis and the arguing of a case. Studying Law will open a window into the world around you, so that when you pick up a newspaper or switch on the TV and see the headlines about crimes – GBH, assault, manslaughter, theft – you are aware of the issues involved. And whenever you see those personal injury adverts, you will understand the role of the solicitors and why they want you to make a claim! Whether you wish to follow a legal career or not, knowledge of the law will always be hugely rewarding.
