Health & Social Care BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma at LeSoCo

Course description

This course will enable you to study a variety of health and social care topics, based on subjects including: communications in health and social care, equal opportunities and clients' health and safety. As well as this you will take part in a work placement, to strengthen your skillset, and you will also develop your English and mathematics abilities.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grades A*-C; one of which must be GCSE English or GCSE Mathematics. Or successful completion of a Level 2 substantial qualification in a related subject - plus an initial assessment that indicates an appropriate level of English and mathematical ability, and a satisfactory reference.

Future opportunities

The programme can lead to a range of degree courses in subjects like health, nursing, social work, social policy, social science, midwifery, psychology or criminology. You may also want to seek employment in the care community or in outreach.
