Hospitality Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma at Lincoln College

Course description

If you want to pursue a career in the hospitality industry then this is an excellent place to start. This course will provide you with the underpinning skills and knowledge to progress through the levels designed to equip you with knowledge and experience of the industry together with the skills and attributes required by employers to a high standard.
Successful completion of this course will provide you with the opportunity to work in hospitality in the UK or overseas and also is a recognised qualification for University entry.
During this course, you will explore theoretically and practically the following topics at an appropriate level to begin working in hospitality: The Hospitality Industry; Financial Control in Hospitality; Food and Drink Service; Customer Care in Hospitality; Planning and Managing a Hospitality Event and Marketing Contemporary World Food.

 

Entry requirements

You will need 4 GCSE’s to include Mathematics and English (minimum grade C). You will be required to attend an interview and provide a reference (from an employer or recent school/college report).

Assessment

Assessment is assignment based.
