Sports Studies is a enormously satisfying subject. It allows you to build self confidence and learn new and exciting skills.The Sports Studies course offers you a wide range of subject areas to study from Principles of Anatomy and Physiology, Fitness Testing and Training to Sports Development. Going out on work experience placements and developing leadership in sport are a vital element of the course. You will also be working with outside sports agencies and learning to work with a wide range of ages and abilities. The Sports Studies syllabus allows for flexibility of learning and will help you to develop advanced skills in sport and PE.By studying the Sports Studies course you will develop new skills and activities that will enable you to progress on to Higher Education and university level courses.
