Course description

The Rugby and Trident Colleges have a long established reputation for providing the study of a wide range of technology/engineering disciplines to very high standards. Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at Grade D / Grade 3 or above must be achieved in four subjects. These subjects must include English, Mathematics and Science.

Or, a suitable equivalent qualification as well as GCSE Grade D / Grade 3 or above in Maths and English will be considered, on a case by case basis 


Assessment is continuous involving assignments, practical tasks and written tests.

Future opportunities

Students can go into careers in many engineering disciplines as Technicians. This course links directly into the modern apprenticeship framework. If you want to get a job straight away you could work in design or Technical Services.
