Biology at St Augustine's Catholic High School

Course description

Biology involves the study of a wide range of exciting topics that are related to living organisms and their environment. Students are encouraged to develop essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of biology and how they relate to each other. An appreciation of how society makes decisions about biology-related issues and how biology contributes to the success of the economu and society is a key element of the course.

This specification builds upon the concepts and skills that will have been developed in the new GCSE Science specifications.
