Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Level 3 at Stratford-upon-Avon College

Course description

Our Advanced Early Years Educator Apprenticeship is a work-based learning programme which is aimed at learners aged 16 or above who can start immediate or anytime in the year. By doing this qualification you will gain and extend you knowledge further which will allow candidates to work with children from birth to 5 years and give you knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.

This qualification will be ideal for candidates who are either looking to work in the industry or wishing to. Upon achievement learners will be enable to enter the workforce as an Early Years Educator, which you can progress further in various jobs such as; Practitioner in day nurseries, practitioner in nursery school, practitioner in reception classes in primary school and many more.

Course Content

This consists of the following qualification:

Diploma CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Educator.

*GCSE GCSE in Mathematics. GCSE in English. GCSE in ICT.

Other Level 2 Certificate in Employment, Rights and Responsibilities.

*GCSE are only applicable to learners who have not already achieved GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths (or equivalent).


How is this qualification delivered?

To achieve the Diploma element of this course, you will be required to complete a series of units which are then assessed in conjunction with observations in the workplace. This is to ensure you are able to demonstrate practical skills and knowledge in a real setting.  To achieve the Functional Skill components, you will be required to undergo a series of formal tests. All knowledge required to achieve these components will be gained alongside the Diploma. Testing will commence at College and you may be required to attend sessions at College.
