Electrical Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 at The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London

Course description

If you want to work at a technical or management level in the electrical industry then this advanced Level 3 course is for you.   You will focus on electrical theory and practice in the workplace.   You will need previous knowledge and understanding of how circuits are constructed to enable initial verification inspection and testing.

Course content

You will learn through a range of practical and theory sessions: prepare a worksite, establish working relationships, comply with health and safety requirements, initial verification and inspection and testing of electrical circuits.

Entry requirements

You will need to have completed the Electrical Installation Level 2 course.

You will need to be employed in the electrical industry.

The course is assessed through course work and six week block assessments, written and practical assignments, written exams and computer based multiple-choice exams.

Future opportunities

You could progress to an NVQ Level 3 when industry employed.
