Information and Communications Technology at The London Oratory School
This course is designed to allow pupils the opportunity to develop their understanding of how ICT is used to assist in the processing of data in a range of organisations and situations.
An assessment of suitability for an A-level course will be made by interview, together with information about ability, effort, expected performance at GCSE and suitability for an A-level course.
You could take this course with other advanced level courses to prepare for higher education in areas of Information and Communication Technology or more general higher education courses as the course offers skills that are useful in lots of subjects. With further training you could go into a job directly related to Information and Communication Technology such as a Computer Programmer, ICT Technician or Website Developer. The course will also help you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge for entering today's workforce across many industries who depend on computers and technology more generally.
